Fan Voting Info

As evidenced by the past six years in the Xenaverse, we know that fan participation is a wonderful thing *g*. This time we'll be looking at Eve. Eve, Eve, Eve. Enjoyed by some, reviled as a weak, whiny dolt by others (Like a bad trip, I'm still having flashbacks to "In the name of Eli and all the powers of Heaven..." *shudder*). It takes a rare talent to make Eve a strong and interesting character. Which is what I'm challenging you to do. Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to tell us how Eve found out about her mother's death and her reaction to the news. Gabrielle can be used, as can any other character (living or dead), but Eve should clearly be the main protagonist. It's up to you, the readers, to decide who did so in the most convincing, plausible, and true-to-the-characters manner. Stories will be posted here as they arrive from the bards, giving you guys the chance to read and form your opinion. The contest closes on March 31st, 2003, and then you will have until April 15th, 2003 to cast your vote. Here's how we'll do it:

  1. Send an email to muse@futuremuse.com.

  2. Put "Story Votes" in your Subject Line.

  3. In the body of your email, please list the stories in this manner:
    1) (insert your first choice)
    2) (insert your second choice)
    3) (insert your third choice)
    (insert two honourable mentions)

  4. PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEEEEEASE REFRAIN FROM VOTING MORE THAN ONCE.

  5. If you wish to add comments or feedback as to what you liked about the story, please do. With your permission (I'll email you), I'll see about posting these comments on the site for the bards and fans to see. Nasty or unconstructive comments will be ignored.

  6. There is no # 6.

  7. The results of the contest will be reported no later than April 21st, 2003.
