Okay, now that the technical difficulties have been ironed out, I'm happy to announce that we're back to Zeen and the Gabwhacker Reviews. She's put her sights on a couple of Mel & Janice pieces this week, as well as a G&X first time. Check them out here...

I'm sorry! My fault! I plead health problems and that's why you guys didn't get an update last weekend. I'm just about better now, so no more slacking off :) There's a bunch of new reviews for you, as well as the opening of the new "Star Trek" section of the site. Buffy's a big hit this week with three new ones and god knows, I'm sure the fans might be happy with a distraction given that the series finale is coming up (I know I am!). Without further ado, here's our newest reviews...

In addition to the "War & Politics" section to the site, I'm now also going to have to add the link to the Star Trek to the rest of the site as well. I'm sorry I'm a bit behind on this, but I promise to get it caught up soon. In the meanwhile, these sections are definitely accessible from the Index/Home page.

Barbara Davies has sent me an updated link for her stories. If anyone has her work bookmarked, you may want to check out the new URL

Our reviewers, including a new joiner - Emily Duncan, have been hard at work for the past couple of weeks looking for some of the good stuff to share. Though you know what? I'm such a doof. I should pay attention to my own updates because the regular staff should have seen their work up LAST weekend instead of THIS weekend. I'm going to blame the mix up on the bad drugs I'm not actually taking *g*. In the meanwhile, here's our latest...

I've added the beginnings of the "War & Politics" section to the site. It's going to take me a little while to add it to the rest of the indices, but be patient; a few weeks should do it :)

Verrath was kind enough to let me know that she's updated the links to her "Tell Me" series which is housed under the Xena fanfic section. The links now reflect the modified URLs.

This week we're swinging things back over to Zeen to see what she has to say about the latest, the greatest, the first and the worst out there in the work of online fic. Four new ones from her poison pen for this week...

Somewhere along the way the cyber goblins made off with a review or two. The latest victim--for whom we've been able to send out a hunting party, smack the slimy culprits down and wrest the review from--is The Way by L. Crystal Michallet-Romero as reviewed by Arati Baj last summer. We're pleased to be able to re-post this review for your enjoyment and we hope you won't mind the goblin heads lining Blurb's front gate this week. Should anyone else notice that a review has gone AWOL, please let our bounty hunters know and we'll do our darnedest to get it back for you :)

Things are a little spartan this week, but that's mostly my fault due to a wrist injury I don't even remember getting. How weird is that? Anyway, two reviews and a graphic update to report...

In our Graphics section, I've designed a new, smaller .gif for use by those who have had a story reviewed on Blurb that they would like to use, both to advertise the fact they were reviewed as well as link to that review on our site. I'm hoping to add one or two more in the next few weeks.

Here's our latest...

House-cleaning Update: I've updated the review listings and "reviewing since" dates for for Kamouraskan, Valkyrie, Taleweaver and AngelRad in the Assoc. Reviewers page.

In this week's rotation we're back to presenting a few unvarnished opinions from the uncompromising GabWhacker. Under Zeen's microscope this time are:

Say, this is starting to become habit forming...

We're happy to present several new reviews for your reading pleasure this week, including reviews from Taleweaver (glad to have you back!) and AngelRad (welcome aboard, darlin'!). So from these two, as well as our usual peanut gallery, I wish you some happy fanfic'ing.

Associate Reviewer News: Valkyrie, that hottie, has had her inbox inundated by the adoring, but unwashed masses and has opened a new email account in order to evade them. Poor thing, I don't blame her. If you read her review and have a comment you would like to drop her, her new addy is now listed under the Assoc. Reviewers link provided above. In addition to this, Taleweaver has been kind enough to provide us with a bio for the page. Check that out if you're interested in knowing more about her!

Site updates: The rest of the site's pages have been modified to allow you to visit the Buffy the Vampire Slayer portion of the site. Should you come across any dead links, however, I'd greatly appreciate it if you'd drop me an email and let me know where that sucker's at, thankyouverymuch :)

Heh heh. Twice in two weeks. Bet you were wagering long odds on THAT happening, eh? Heh. Okay, so I'm probably more impressed with myself than you are, but I need these little thrills to keep me going *g*

Whoops!: Right off the top, I am compelled by my conscience to share with you all the fact that I buggered up. Turns out that the story I posted to the BvtS section last week was NOT our first ever. The lovely and ever kind Angharad Governal (who created this site originally btw) pointed out that she posted something to Blurb eons ago; a XWP/BtvS crossover entitled "Dark Promise" by Katrina and Sharon Bowers. That said, I shall hurry on over and cross-reference that sucker to the Buffy section asap so the Scoobie fans don't miss out...

Gabwhacked!: The Gabwhacker's Review section is now up, operational and furnished with the first installment of several reviews by Gabwhacker's Zeen. Click here or go to the top of the page and click on the Gabwhacked! link provided.

Links Updated: We found that a couple of our links were dead, so we waved our Xena doll over 'em and - whaddya know - they're fixed :) It's true what they say: nothing stays dead in the Xenaverse.
